What's the catch?+
There isn't one, but here's our business model in plain English: the build is free, and we make our money from the Care Plan once you're live. We only get paid if you love the site — which is exactly the incentive you want us to have.
Is it really free?+
The build is genuinely free — no setup fee, no deposit, no card details. The Care Plan (hosting, updates, upkeep) is $199/month, and it only starts when your site goes live.
What if I don't like the site?+
You walk away. No payment, no invoice, no hard feelings. And before that, you get a full 7-day review window with unlimited changes — batch your feedback into a list and we'll work through the lot.
How fast will it be ready?+
Ready to review within 5 business days of your completed form — or your first month is free. Once you approve and pay, it's live within 24 hours.
Am I locked into a contract?+
No. Month to month from day one, cancel anytime with 30 days notice. Watch out for "free website" offers that need a 12-month contract — that's not free, that's a lease with a smile.
Do I own the website?+
Your domain and your content are always yours, full stop. The site code stays ours while you're on the Care Plan — that's how we keep the build free — and if you ever want to take it elsewhere, you can buy it outright for a flat $1,800, anytime.
What happens if I cancel?+
Your site stays live through your 30-day notice, your domain goes with you, and you've got 30 days after that to buy the code if you want it.
Who qualifies?+
Tradies and local small businesses Australia-wide — we're a web designer for small business owners who want it done properly, without agency overheads. Bigger or more complex operations usually fit Made to Order — get in touch instead.
What counts as an update?+
Changing text, prices, photos, services, testimonials — unlimited, included, turned around in 3–5 business days. New pages, redesigns and custom features are quoted separately.
Do you write the words?+
Yep, all of it. You fill in a short form about your business, we write every page from it, and you review the lot before anything goes live.
What if I already have a website?+
Even easier. We build the new one alongside it — your current site stays live until you approve the switch, so there's never a gap.
I don't have a logo or decent photos.+
Not a problem. No logo? We'll set your business name in clean type until you get one. No photos? We'll use quality stock imagery you approve.
Can you do online bookings or a shop?+
That's our Made to Order service — custom-quoted. Get in touch and we'll talk it through.
I don't have a domain name.+
We'll register one for you ($35/year) — in your name, so it's yours from day one. Already got one? We'll connect it, no charge.
Is there GST on top?+
No. $199 a month is the whole price.
Why are you so much cheaper than agencies?+
Custom-built sites, no office, no account managers, and smart use of AI in production. Same quality foundation, a fraction of the overhead — and we pass it on. We also cap how many builds we take each month, which is why the spots counter up top is real.
